Wordigo ("Wordigo," "we," "us," or "our") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have when you use the Wordigo mobile app.

Information We Collect
We collect the information needed to operate Wordigo, provide account features, save progress, process purchases, send requested notifications, and respond to support requests.
Account information
When you create or use a Wordigo account, we may collect:
- Email address
- Account identifier
- Authentication information handled by our authentication provider
We do not store your plaintext password.
Game and profile information
We may collect and store information related to your gameplay, including:
- Display name or username
- Puzzle progress
- Completed puzzles
- Scores, stars, streaks, rankings, and leaderboard entries
- Coins, hints, and other in-app game balances
- Words, guesses, and puzzle solution activity
Purchase information
If you make an in-app purchase, payment is processed by Google Play. We may receive and store information needed to verify and fulfill the purchase, such as:
- Product purchased
- Transaction or receipt information
- Purchase status
We do not receive or store your full payment card information.
Notification information
If you allow push notifications, we may collect:
- Push notification token
- Notification preferences
- Device platform
- App version
- Device model
- Notification delivery information
You can disable notifications through your device settings.
Support and feedback information
If you contact us, report a word, or send feedback, we may collect the information you provide, such as your email address, message, and related app or gameplay details.
Device and technical information
We and our service providers may collect limited technical information needed to operate the app, protect accounts, deliver notifications, process purchases, and troubleshoot issues. This may include app version, device type, operating system, and similar diagnostic information.
How We Use Information
We use the information we collect to:
- Create and manage user accounts
- Save game progress and app preferences
- Provide puzzles, gameplay features, coins, hints, and leaderboards
- Process, verify, and fulfill in-app purchases
- Send account-related emails, password reset emails, and support replies
- Send push notifications if enabled
- Detect, prevent, and troubleshoot technical or security issues
- Improve Wordigo and understand how the app is used
- Comply with legal, platform, and policy requirements
How We Share Information
We do not sell your personal information.
We may share information with service providers that help us operate Wordigo, including:
- Supabase, for authentication, database, and backend services
- Google Firebase Cloud Messaging, for push notifications
- Google Play and Unity IAP, for in-app purchase processing and fulfillment
- Resend, for transactional and support-related emails
These providers may process information according to their own privacy policies and terms.
We may also disclose information if required by law, to protect our rights, to prevent fraud or abuse, or in connection with a business transfer such as a merger or acquisition.
Data Retention
We keep information for as long as needed to provide Wordigo, maintain your account, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements.
You may request account deletion or data deletion by contacting support@wordigoapp.com. Some information may be retained if required for legal, security, fraud prevention, purchase verification, or accounting reasons.
Your Choices
You can:
- Update or correct certain account information in the app when available
- Disable push notifications in your device settings
- Request access, correction, or deletion of your information by contacting support@wordigoapp.com
- Stop using the app at any time
Children's Privacy
Wordigo is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us, contact us at support@wordigoapp.com and we will take appropriate steps to delete it.
Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards to help protect information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
International Data Processing
Your information may be processed and stored in countries other than where you live. These countries may have data protection laws that differ from those in your location.
Third-Party Links and Services
Wordigo may use third-party services such as app stores, authentication providers, email providers, cloud services, notification services, and purchase processors. Your use of those services may be subject to their own privacy policies and terms.
Ads
Wordigo does not currently show third-party ads. If ads are added in the future, we will update this Privacy Policy and any required app store disclosures before using ad-related data.
Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the effective date and provide notice as required by applicable law or platform policy.
